Many people have opted for online dating as opposed to the traditional Party, Bars,Dances and other social events. Why this method?…because it works…or, at least, it can work. 

One thing men must realise is that women are, in general, extremely sceptical if not terrified of meeting a man that she has been cyber chatting with .  Many of them  have heard or read about  the scary things that can happen…and, I must admit, they have every right to be on their guard.  That’s not only wise but vital.  So what happens with a genuinely  nice guy?.   You aren’t a pervert, a sexual predator, or a weirdo, but in this society we live in, peter does pay for paul…….  you are just a nice guy looking for that perfect someone but you`ll have to prove it. 

You must learn to  be patient.  Don’t force her into giving out personal information like her real name or where she lives or her phone number.  Keep your conversations light and fun until she feels comfortable chatting with you online.  Don’t pressure her into meeting you in person.  She will think you are desperate or a pervert.  Patience is the key here.

Be genuine and honest about your physical appearance and job. She will accept you for who you are not who you pretend to be. A good relationship has never been, and will never be, built on lies and deceit.  Trust me, men are not very good liars.Eventually she will find out the truth anyway ( women go to great length to find the truth) and there you will be….. back at square one. 

Remember the saying ”a picture  is worth a thousand words?”  Post many pictures of yourself doing things you love, your everyday activities and make them full body shots, not just face shots. Remember if you were dating a girl in the real world she would be seeing your full body not just your head. 

Once you have gained her trust and confidence to meet face to face for the first time, be the one to suggest that you meet in a very public place, during daylight hours  and encourage her to bring a friend with her if she so desire.  After all, you have nothing to hide right?.  You’ve already told her the truth about yourself and she has already seen plenty of your pictures .  It is very important not to mess up at this late stage.
